About Kaya Restaurant

Kaya Restaurant is a chinese restaurant in High Point, North Carolina. It is listed at 3925 Sedgebrook St #113, High Point, NC 27265, which places it among the local businesses of High Point that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as korean restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in High Point; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–3 pm. It is closed on Wednesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Kaya Restaurant at (336) 841-0669; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is order.toasttab.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 453 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in High Point and suggests consistent service.

High Point is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around High Point is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My husband and I went to dinner tonight and we were craving Korean food. We stumbled upon Kaya when we were looking up where to go for dinner. 10/10! I moved from LA and have been craving really solid Korean food ever since I moved and Kaya definitely satisfied my craving. We were so excited and ordered so much! Portions are large and we had to pack a lot of the food to take home β€” but we don’t mind that at all! Our favorite was the galbitang. The broth was steaming hot and heartwarming. We loved that they were super generous by adding three beef ribs in the broth! Overall, everything was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Stopped for lunch. Ordering was a little confusing, but the food options were plentiful. I had the bulgogi. Came out in an iron skillet. It was a little more on the Chinese side than Korean, but it was delicious. The sticky rice was some of the best sticky rice I've ever had. Great spot.

Great food, didn't get to take any pictures because we were so hungry. But the food was very pleasant, everything tasted like it was home made. I will be back 🫰

Authentic Chinese and Korean cuisine in town! The dishes are incredibly delicious, full of rich flavors, and clearly made with care. A must-visit for anyone craving real, comforting Asian food. The food is flavorful and truly authentic. Everything we tried was delicious. Hopefully, more vegetarian dishes can be added in the future.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Kaya Restaurant, a small but cozy establishment that serves Chinese and Korean cuisine. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, but it filled up quickly during our meal. I ordered the general tso chicken, and it was delicious! The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the sauce was spicy but not overpowering. I also enjoyed the accompanying sides of rice and vegetables. The service at Kaya Restaurant was friendly and attentive. The staff was always on hand to answer our questions and make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I had a positive experience at Kaya Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good Chinese or Korean meal.
